Having worked in the fashion, media and film industry, Graham Pownall is a professional hair and make-up artist and designer with over twenty years experience, known for his unique sense of style.
His work was recognised by the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences when he was shortlisted as an Academy Awards finalist at the 2005 Oscars for his period work on "Delovely" (MGM).
He began his career working in theatre as a hair and makeup designer. Productions include "Old Times" with Julie Christie, "August" with Anthony Hopkins and Matthew Bourne's ground breaking all male "Swan Lake".
Graham continues to work within the industry most recently for Christies Magazine. In conjunction with this he also runs his own successful hairdressing business.
